The LGBT foundation want your help

The LGBT Foundation is conducting a survey into the healthcare experiences of lesbian and bisexual women and they want your help. They want to hear about your experiences of healthcare. Has being a lesbian or bisexual woman ever affected the healthcare you’ve received? As part of their work with The National LGB&T Partnership, the LGBT Foundation is working with Public Health England to improve the healthcare provided to lesbian, bisexual and other non-heterosexual women.

They are collecting patient experiences to form part of the report and we’d like to hear from you! You can tell them about positive or negative practice (or even a mix of both) – and they really would like to hear about as many healthcare encounters as possible. Everyone who completes the survey on healthcare will be entered into a prize draw to win £50 of shopping vouchers.

The organisation will also be hosting a small focus group on Thursday 10th December 6.30pm to explore these issues further. All focus group participants will receive £15 shopping vouchers as a thank you for taking part.

Visit the LGBT foundation website here, for more information on both opportunities. If you have any queries about the survey or focus group, please email heather.williams@lgbt.foundation.
