National Student Pride 2017
Turning 12 this year, National Student Pride (NSP) returns to the British capital from Friday 24th – Sunday 26th February. What can you expect from this year’s event? A jam-packed weekend FULL of education, conversation and fun.
The daytime festival (the heart of NSP) on the Saturday returns to the University of Westminster’s Marylebone campus, hosting the annual NSP Careers Fair, a number of debates and discussions and a selection of young, musical artists who will be showcasing their talents.
The evenings events and activities will be hosted at the world-famous G-A-Y nightclubs, with the Saturday night party taking over G-A-Y Heaven near London’s Charring Cross Station. This is always a sell out event, so make sure you get your tickets early .
As with every year, NSP always lead with a theme. Their chosen theme is always something that needs discussion and is important within the LGBTI community.
This year’s theme is #LETSTALKABOUTSEX
Who remembers this catchy tune?!
So yes, for the first time, NSP will be putting sex education at the core of the event.
Love, dating, relationships, the rising levels of HIV, racism in the LGBT community and the role of the dating app are all topics that will be up for discussion.
More information coming soon! If you can’t wait, head over to the NSP website.
